Gala Opening Night
A very large crowd attended the Gala Opening night and enjoyed the Campbells Wines while admiring over 450 artworks presented by our many talented artists.

Known for attracting a depth of artistic talent from around Australia, the 2021 Rutherglen Tastes of Art Prize was a fabulous success with a record number of over 500 artist entries. Thank you to all artists, businesses and volunteers who made this event possible.
2021 Tastes of Art Prize
2021 was the 4th Rutherglen Tastes of Art Prize. Following success from previous years, we are retaining our Youth Award, for artists up to 18 years of age. Artworks entered into the prize as always were available for sale, with 14% of artworks sold this year.
2021 Judge
The 2021 prize was judged by the talented and renowned Wangaratta local, Dianne Mangan. Dianne has had a lifelong love of art, expressed through both being a maker and working in the art world and is currently the gallery director at Off Centre Gallery +Studio. Prior to this Dianne was Gallery Director at the Wangaratta Art Gallery for over 18 years.

We celebrated the Tastes of Art Gala Opening Cocktail Party on Friday 6 March, 2020. It was a fantastic night celebrating as the winners were announced and $6500 worth of prizes awarded! This year our exhibition was very successful with 373 artworks entered.
